Four Seasons is owned and operated by its residents. The Board of Directors is composed of nine resident members elected by the general membership for two-year terms. Directors are not entitled to monetary compensation for their duties. The Board of Directors employs a full staff including a Recreation Director, Business Director, Director of Covenant Enforcement, a complete pool staff and office support personnel. Grounds maintenance is conducted by an independent contractor.
The Four Seasons of Herndon Recreation Association is a Virginia Corporation. The organizational structure of the association was established in the Articles of Incorporation, with managerial responsibilities assigned to a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is also governed by the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. Additionally, the Recreation Association has published By-Laws which set forth operating duties and responsibilities of the Association. These documents are available at the Clubhouse.
The Rules and Regulations for the Recreation Association were written by a resident committee and endorsed by the Board of Directors and the members at large. These rules are updated periodically and are included on this website.
Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Guidelines for the single-family homes in Autumn Glen of Four Seasons were written by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC, which is made up of resident owners. These Guidelines are also included on this website.
In addition to the Board of Directors, the Four Seasons community is dependent upon the volunteer work of its members through committees and clubs. Committees are established by the Board to fulfill needed functions of the Association. Clubs are formed by the members of the community to provide social and service activities to the community.
The REC Board of Directors meets at the Clubhouse on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m (eff. 03/2018). All members are welcome to attend.
Any member in good standing of Four Seasons is welcome to join any committee or may run for election to the Board of Directors.
